Animal Welfare Audits (On-Farm / Facilities)
We offer comprehensive certification programs for livestock handlers, available both online and in person. Our services include hands-on training for on-farm personnel, loadout crews, and transporters, as well as audit preparedness training to ensure compliance and readiness. We provide online access to certification materials and records, and support thorough record keeping and record auditing.
In addition, we conduct site assessments, unannounced and undercover audits, and offer rescue auditing services to uphold high standards of animal welfare and operational integrity. Process, Product, & Program Certification
CloverLeaf offers third-party certification for animal-related products, processes, and programs that impact animal care and welfare. Our structured, science-backed review process evaluates each submission using globally recognized frameworks—including the Five Freedoms and Five Domains—ensuring a thorough and credible assessment.
Evaluations are conducted by an independent committee with no conflicts of interest. Certifications are valid for up to three years and include optional public-facing seals that signal animal welfare leadership and support brand credibility.

California Prop 12 Certifications
California’s Proposition 12 sets minimum animal welfare standards by requiring specific housing conditions for breeding pigs, veal calves, and egg-laying hens. To sell covered products in California, both producers and distributors must meet certification requirements.
