• What types of audits does CloverLeaf provide?

  We offer third-party animal welfare audits across the supply chain—including on-farm, transport, and processing facilities. Our services include certification for California Proposition 12, custom process verification audits, and our ISO TS 34700-certified CloverLeaf Animal Welfare Certified Care™ program.

• How is CloverLeaf different from other animal welfare programs?

  We are an independent, accredited certifying agent—not consultants. Our audits are science-based, practical, and transparent. We focus on long-term system integrity, not one-time inspections, and we provide clear, credible verification to support animal welfare and business success.

• Can you certify international operations or only U.S. farms?

  Yes. We’re authorized to certify producers and distributors both domestically and internationally. Our certified auditors conduct audits in English, Spanish, and Portuguese to ensure clear communication and consistent evaluations across regions.

• What’s involved in getting Certified Care™ certification?

  The process begins with a full evaluation of your animal welfare program from farm to processing. If minimum standards aren’t met, we provide a defined period for correction. Once certified, annual recertification is required to maintain the Certified Care™ seal.

• Can I use your certification seal on my product labels?

  Yes! Once certified, you may add the CloverLeaf Animal Welfare Certified Care™ or Process Verified seal to your product packaging. These labels assure customers that your products meet high animal welfare standards—and that claim is backed by independent, third-party audits.
